How long have you been in business? A. For more than 14 years. A portion of each sale benefits the FREE programs of the The Cancer Support Center in Homewood and Mokena. Q. What is The Cancer Support Center? A. Located at 2028 Elm Rd., in downtown Homewood, IL, and 19250 Everett Lane in Mokena, IL, The Center provides FREE professional support to ANYONE affected by cancer. Services include support groups, individual and family therapy, wellness and exercise programs, nutrition and relaxation workshops, "Ask-A-Doctor" opportunities, a resource center/lending library, bereavement services, and programs for ALL ages. Our programs are open to the cancer patient, his/her family, friends, loved ones, children, etc. Anyone affected by a cancer diagnosis is welcome. Q. Where do your consignors come from? A. We offer a variety of items from all over the Midwest from consignors and donors alike. Q. How are you staffed? A. Thanks to the generosity of our caring community, The Village Door is staffed primarily by local volunteers. There is a paid store manager. Q. When can I drop off donated or consigned items? A.
